Collaboration with Local Vegan Calligraphist
If you took a close look at our Tally Shopper Tote, you’d see a detachable alphabet tag attached to the magnet fastening. Upon purchase, you’d be able to select the tag that you want, from the letter A to Z. So make sure you choose the one you like!
The letters were written by Belinda Chim, a local vegan calligraphist here in Macau. We love to collaborate with fellow vegans and especially love her style. We think that it adds a lot of detail to our Tally Shopper Tote. And it’s so much fun to work with fellow vegans – you have so much to talk about and everything just feels good when you are around a circle of like-minded people, don’t you think?
By the way, if you looked real close at the detachable tag, does the shape remind you of anything? Well, it’s the shape of an ear tag. Ear tags are used in the animal agriculture industry to make it easier for farmers to identify their “livestock”.
It doesn’t have to be this way – animals are our friends, not some stock. We wanted to include this as a subtle message in our bag by shaping the tag this way – if you know, you know.
